I thought so. Who wouldn’t reconise this Iconic pose. Living in Chicago’s Pioneer court, Marilyn Monroe was erected yesterday. The 26-foot tall statue by artist Seward Johnson weighs in at a whopping 34,000 lbs. The sculpture is extremly detailed, with the white undergarments visable and the red nail polish.
While she stands over a New York subway, the statue will be on show until spring 2012.
Better get down there quick if you want to take a peak.
